FEDERAL RED SNAPPER SEASON: June 1-10 for private recreational anglers; 44-day season for charterboats/for-hire operations.

OPEN seasons: Red grouper in state and federal waters. Greater amberjack season open, but will close at 12:01 a.m. Monday and remain closed through July 31 in state and federal waters.

SPRING INSHORE SHRIMP SEASON: Open statewide in coastal waters until further notice.

CLOSED seasons: Gag grouper closure through July 1, 2015; gray triggerfish for 2015. Recreational non-sandbar large coastal sharks in state waters closed April 1. Closure ordered for remainder of 2015 for commercial fishing for large coastal sharks in state and federal waters.
