FISHING

STATE RED SNAPPER SEASON: Open through 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8 in state waters. Two-fish daily limit with 16-inch minimum size.

OPEN seasons: Greater amberjack (30 inches minimum fork length), red & gag grouper, several species of sharks in state and federal waters. Gray triggerfish in state waters only.

FALL INSHORE SHRIMP SEASON: Open coastwide until further notice.

CLOSED seasons: Federal recreational red snapper, gray triggerfish & recreational non-sandbar large coastal sharks (state/federal waters) & commercial fishing for large coastal sharks in state/federal waters for remainder of 2015.
