WMAs, REFUGES, parks
Effective July 1, the Department of Wildlife & Fisheries reopened the following wildlife management areas after flooding threats from the Mississippi and Atchafalaya rivers:
?Attakapas WMA (Iberia/St. Martin/St. Mary parishes).
?Three Rivers WMA (Concordia Parish) are open.
?Grassy Lake WMA (Avoyelles Parish) except Cas Cas Road. The Bayou Des Sot bridge has been repaired.
?The South Farm (Iberville Parish) portion of Sherburne WMA to ATV and walk-in traffic. The rest of the WMA is closed until further notice.
?Until further notice: Parts of Dewey Wills WMA, and the Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge and the Bonnet Carre Spillway Area remain closed.
