Scott Rabalais’ take: LSU’s lackluster performance against Syracuse last week gave the Tigers’ bowl projections another knock. The only Jan. 1 game LSU is projected in now is the Outback, while several picks have the Tigers wrapping things up in December. That would be good if LSU was picked for the New Year’s Six Cotton Bowl (Dec. 29), but not in this case. We’re sticking with LSU in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, this time against Michigan State.
