Former LSU staffer Bill Martin tweeted Sunday that his home was robbed and his LSU championship rings stolen.

“Whoever robbed my house while I was gone on road trip and took my LSU championship rings, I will find you. You can take tv but not history,” tweeted Martin, now Mississippi State’s assistant athletic director of media relations.

Martin was a student intern at LSU from 2001 through 2008. He returned to LSU full-time in June 2008 and served as associate sports information director. He left in 2013 to take his current job with Mississippi State, according to the school’s website.

LSU won national titles in football in 2003 and 2007.
