Comedian Aziz Ansari gave Gov. Bobby Jindal an idea for a new presidential campaign slogan on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” Wednesday night.
Ansari, portraying Jindal, defended his decision to stay in the presidential race, telling Fallon that he’s no longer polling at 1 percent, but 2 percent – “a huge difference.”
“You ever taste 1 percent milk?” Ansari said. “It’s barely milk. But man, when you start dumping that 2 percent milk on your Apple Jacks, it’s like, pow. You can taste the fat. It’s a game changer.”
Ansari said that revelation led to his new campaign slogan: “Jindal 2016: Taste the fat.”
Ansari also poked fun at Jindal’s views on global warming, saying that he is “the only candidate that doesn’t believe in any science, period” and referring to photosynthesis as a “science myth.”
The real Bobby Jindal joined in the joke Thursday morning, tweeting that Ansari did a “great impression” but that his best work was still “‘Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle' though. Am I right @KalPenn?”
