LSU has sold out of season football tickets for the 12th straight season, with 74,350 season tickets purchased for the 2015 home schedule, associate athletic director for ticket operations Brian Broussard announced Monday.

On a post on the LSU website lsusports.net, LSU said the 74,350 season tickets sold ties the school record, set last year when Tiger Stadium was expanded to seat over 100,000.

LSU has sold out of season tickets every year dating back to the 2004 season, when 66,232 season tickets were sold the year after the Tigers won the BCS National Championship.

The Tigers open their 11th season under head coach Les Miles on Saturday, Sept. 5, when LSU welcomes McNeese State to Tiger Stadium.
