Report: Louisiana man arrested after hotwiring, stealing school bus while intoxicated _lowres

Jordon Molaison, 21, of Thibodaux was arrested Wednesday after reportedly hotwiring and stealing a school bus while intoxicated.

A Louisiana man was arrested Wednesday for stealing a school bus and driving it while intoxicated, according to police.

According to a WWLtv report, Jordon Molaison, 21, of Thibodaux allegedly hotwired the bus and damaged the camera inside before driving away.

The female bus driver awoke to find the bus missing, and reported it missing to the Lafourche Parish Sherriff's Office. While reporting to the scene, they observed the bus travelling westbound on La. 20, and took Molaison into custody after a traffic stop. He initially refused a field sobriety test, but submitted to a breathalyzer that indicated he had a blood alcohol content of .144. The legal limit is .08.

Molaison faces charges of felony theft of a motor vehicle, simple criminal damage to property, DWI second offense, driving under suspension and operating a vehicle without a proper endorsement.
