MANSFIELD — A 31-year-old man wanted for the Christmas Eve shooting death of a Mansfield man has surrendered to authorities.

Assistant Police Chief Gary Hobbs said Terrance Glaster, also of Mansfield, was booked into the DeSoto Parish Detention Center over the weekend on a count of first-degree murder.

Hobbs said a warrant charged Glaster with the Dec. 24 death of 29-year-old LaDerrick Hadnott.

He said the motive for the homicide appears to be robbery.

Hadnott’s body was discovered in a home he shared with a roommate.
