Player of the Week
Allee Morris, Hannan volleyball
It is hard to make the case that anyone had a better two-game stretch than the Hawks' middle blocker. Taking on two of the top teams in the parish, Morris had 31 kills in a victory over Northshore and 27 kills in a four-game victory over St. Scholastica.
Team of the Week
The Titans continue to roll, notching a 51-23 victory last week over Hancock County (Miss.). Jacob Bernard had three touchdowns in the air, and Jalen Willis added two more. And Chris Penton continues his video-game performance under center, going an amazing 15-18 for 329 yards and five more touchdowns. Can anyone slow down the Titans?

Mandeville High volleyball
Starting the season 1-7, the young Mandeville High Skippers finished out last week with a pair of district victories, beating Fontainebleau on the road and Ponchatoula at home, both in three games. Are Rachel Lindelow’s young Skippers starting to turn the corner? It sure likes it.
They said it
“But the positive side that I love is this team is so willing to be coached. They are like sponges. They are great about taking information, being coachable, and going out there and trying to do what we are telling them.”
