The Society for Features Journalism awarded the New Orleans Advocate’s dining guide an honorable mention in its yearly contest, the group announced on Tuesday.
The award honors niche products that are published at least twice a year. The Advocate competes in Division 1, which is comprised of newspapers with a circulation of up to 90,000 readers.
The New Orleans Advocate dining guide is published in spring and fall, and offers more than 100 recommendations for New Orleans restaurants. It’s available in print and online.
The next guide will be published Sept. 23.
