The Vow Factor: Alexa Georges and Jerry Armatis celebrated their wedding at the home of Alexa’s brother, John Georges, joined by a who’s who of invited, and delighted, guests. Visitors passed beneath crystal chandeliers and stars into a tented garden washed in amber light, and flowers filled the rooms.

Duke’s Up : The red carpet party and official premiere of John Schneider’s spoofy horror movie “Smothered,” filmed in Louisiana, was held at the Sheraton Hotel. In the early 1980s Schneider played Bo Duke in TV’s “The Dukes of Hazzard,” but these days he’s an actor and filmmaker with a 50-acre studio spread in Holden, Louisiana.
