A new baby penguin chick was successfully hatched last month at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas in New Orleans, according to a press release.

The Aquarium welcomed Chicory, an endangered African blackfooted penquin hatched April 23, 2015. The new chick has been nesting with first-time parents, Millicent and Puddles, in the penguin exhibit at the Aquarium.

The Audubon Aquarium, which celebrates its 25th birthday later this year, has raised 52 chicks since the Aquarium opened in 1990. It is currently home to 40 African blackfooted penguins and 3 southern rockhopper penguins.

Visitors to the Aquarium can meet the newly-expanded family by stopping by the penguin exhibit.
