In January, “Disney’s The Lion King” returns to New Orleans for the first time since 2012. The four-week run gives audiences ample opportunity to see one of the most popular, longest-running shows in Broadway history.

March brings more pop hits with “Beautiful — The Carole King Musical,” a look into the personal life of the songwriter who penned such classics as “You’ve Got a Friend” and “(You Make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman.”

A romantic thriller, “The Bodyguard” comes to the Saenger in April. The musical is based on the popular film and includes one of the biggest selling songs of all time, “I Will Always Love You.”

In May, New Orleans hosts the 2015 Broadway hit “Finding Neverland,” a retelling of the timeless Peter Pan story.
