Rapper and "NCIS: Los Angeles" star LL Cool J has joined the roster of the 2018 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, organizers announced Tuesday. He'll perform at the Fair Grounds on the festival's second Friday, May 4.
He is slated to appear with special guest DJ Z-Trip. They'll likely close out the Congo Square Stage that day.
Other acts scheduled for May 4 include Beck, Sheryl Crow, Aaron Neville, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
Single-day tickets to what is formally the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival presented by Shell are on sale for $65 plus fees and charges. The price at the gate will be $80 on every day except Thursday, May 3, when Louisiana residents with a valid ID can purchase up to two tickets at the gate for $50.
