Pelicans superstars Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins got a full taste of Mardi Gras festivities from atop a float on Fat Tuesday.

The two Pelicans were the honorary grand marshals for the annual Zulu parade, which rolled at 8 a.m. on Mardi Gras Day.

The Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club is one of New Orleans’ oldest krewes, founded in 1916.

Cousins said previously that he’s experienced “the original” Mardi Gras in his native Mobile, Alabama, but hasn’t been a part of it since he was in high school.

From the looks of it, he thoroughly enjoyed his first Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
