Tickets are on sale for The New Orleans Film Society’s 6th annual filmOrama. Screenings will take place May 29-June 4 at the Prytania Theatre.

Tickets and film descriptions are available here.

FilmOrama will feature 19 feature films, 10 of them Louisiana premieres. Selections include such festival favorites as “The Wolfpack” and “Kumiko the Treasure Hunter.” Also acclaimed foreign films, including “The Tribe” and “White God.”

The festival will also present newly restored classics, including “Touch of Evil,” “Rebels of the Neon God” and “Grey Gardens.”

“Every spring,” said New Orleans Film Society Artistic Director John Desplas, “after listening to the plaintive cry of the bereft filmgoer (‘there’s nothing playing at the movies’), the staff of the New Orleans Film Society set to work to produce filmOrama and to elicit cries of ‘how I am gonna find the time to see all these movies!’ That’s our goal, too many movies you feel you gotta see.”
