The New Orleans Film Festival, which continues through Thursday at venues throughout New Orleans, announced its 2017 Jury Award Winners.

The festival also announced an addition its “Spotlight” film series. “Roman J. Israel, Esq.”, starring Denzel Washington and Colin Farrell in a story about an idealistic attorney in crisis, will screen at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ace Hotel New Orleans. Writer-director Dan Gilroy will attend.
