“TOMORROWLAND”: George Clooney stars in this mystery-adventure as a disillusioned former boy-genius who meets a bright teenager filled with scientific curiosity. Together, they go on a dangerous mission to discover the secrets of the mysterious Tomorrowland. Hugh Laurie, Raffey Cassidy, Brittany Robertson and Kathryn Hahn co-star.

“POLTERGEIST”: Horror master Sam Raimi (“Spiderman,” “Evil Dead,” “The Grudge”) and director Gil Kenan (“Monster House”) update the 1982 ghost story about a suburban family whose home is invaded by evil spirits. The cast includes Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris, Jane Adams and Kennedi Clements as the girl the spirits hold captive.

“DIOR AND I”: A documentary about the Christian Dior fashion house, including a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of new artistic director Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection. Opens Friday at Prytania Theatre.

“GOOD KILL”: Ethan Hawke plays a former Air Force pilot who operates Taliban-targeting drones from the Las Vegas desert. January Jones from “Mad Men” co-stars. Opening Friday at Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center, 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

“GERONTOPHILIA”: A mix of drama and comedy, “Gerontophilia” is about a gay teenager who falls in love with an old man who lives in the nursing home where the younger man works. Opening Friday at Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center, 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.
