Kendrick Lamar, the critically-acclaimed rapper who released “To Pimp a Butterfly” earlier this year, will make a stop in New Orleans next week as part of his new tour.
Lamar will perform at The Civic Theatre Wednesday, Oct. 28. Doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 in advance and go on sale Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m.
The show is part of a tour called the “1st Annual Kunta’s Groove Sessions,” and also features performances from Lamar’s backing band the Wesley Theory and Jay Rock.
The intimate tour will also make stops Atlanta, Dallas and New York before wrapping up in Oakland, California on Nov. 10.
