Ray LaMontagne, a singer-songwriter whose 2010 album, “God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise,” won a Grammy Award for best contemporary folk album, will perform Oct. 27 at the Saenger Theatre.

LaMontagne released his fifth album, “Supernova,” in April. Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys’ produced the album at his Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville. Auerbach previously produced Dr. John’s Grammy-winning album, “Locked Down.”

LaMontagne released his album debut, “Trouble,” in 2004. His songs were featured in several TV series, including “ER,” “Bones” and “One Tree Hill.”
