Fats Domino may be gone, but he's far from forgotten.Β

The New Orleans pianist and singer-songwriter was honored along with fellow rock and roll pioneer Chuck Berry at the 2018 Grammy Awards with a musical tribute.

Kenner native Jon Batiste was joined by Gary Clark Jr. to perform Domino's 'Ain't that a Shame,' while Clark led the way in a performance of Berry's 'Maybellene.' The two were accompanied by Joe Saylor, Batiste's drummer in his band Stay Human.

Domino died October 24, at his home in Harvey at the age of 89. Berry, who died March 18, was 90 when he died.
