This week, a trio of brass bands will perform — the tradition-minded Treme Brass Band, the New Breed Brass Band, and the all-female Pinettes Brass Band, who were last seen at Jazz Fest escorting Arcade Fire off the Acura Stage and into the crowd as the band made an effort to second line through the crowd.

The Louisiana Cajun Zydeco Festival continues to present quality lineups, including Buckwheat Zydeco and Geno Delafose on Saturday, and Lost Bayou Ramblers and BeauSoleil avec Michael Doucet and Jo-El Sonnier on Sunday. The event is free.
