That’s My Boo!
The spirit of New Orleans roamed the French Quarter for the city’s official Halloween parade, Krewe of Boo. Former Saints kicker Morten Andersen was king and Trixie Minx reigned as queen as 350 riders tossed treats and trinkets to spectators in the “Boo Carre.” Marching alongside were 610 Stompers, Mini Muffalettas, Pussy Footers and the Krewe of Kolossos. The parade ended at the Howlin’ Wolf for a Monster Mash party featuring Dumpstaphunk.
We (heart) Art
Monica Canilao and Lauren Napolitano created a site-specific installation for the exhibit “Infinite: Intimate” at Red Truck Gallery on Royal Street. The show features individual works from the pair as well, in addition to new pieces by Caitlin McCormack and Jason Borders.
