The Sewerage & Water Board said construction work will cause low water pressure Friday and Saturday in parts of New Orleans:

Residents and businesses in parts of Broadmoor will experience low pressure from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday as crews repair several broken water lines.

The areas affected are along Palmer Avenue from South Claiborne Avenue to Willow Street, along State Street from Willow Street to South Claiborne Avenue and along Loyola Avenue between Sixth and Philip streets.

Customers in the DeSaix Boulevard area of Gentilly will experience low water pressure from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday as crews make a series of water line repairs.

The following areas will be affected: along Florida Avenue between Tunica and Moss streets; along Moss Street between Florida Avenue and DeSaix Boulevard; along Tunica Street between DeSaix Boulevard and Florida Avenue; along Roger Williams Street between Tunica and Castine streets; and along Castine Street from Roger Williams Street to DeSaix Boulevard.

The following areas will be affected: along Nashville Avenue from South Rocheblave Street to Fontainebleau Drive; along Fontainebleau from State Street Drive to Octavia Street; along State Street Drive from Fontainebleau to McKenna Street; along McKenna Street from Calhoun Street to Nashville Avenue; and along Octavia Street from Walmsley Avenue to Fontainebleau.
