HARVEY PUMPKIN PATCH: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 3245 Manhattan Blvd., Harvey, will operate its pumpkin patch through Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. No admission charge. Homemade pumpkin bread, candles, gourds and Halloween items will be available. Pumpkin sales benefit the Navajo Indians of New Mexico and St. Mark’s local outreach programs. BOO CARRE: The Boo Carre Halloween and Harvest Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 17 at the French Market in New Orleans. Kids in costume will receive a free trick-or-treat bag and a trick-or-treat sheet to tell them what shops, restaurants, and farmers and flea market vendors are handing out treats. TRUNK OR TREAT: Tulane-Lakeside Hospital and the Jefferson Parish Library will hold a Trunk-or-Treat Halloween event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, in the parking lot of the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon Ave., Metairie. The purpose of the event provides a safe environment for children and pediatric patients to participate in Halloween activities. During the event, children will trick-or-treat at various cars located throughout the parking lot . Children who participate in this event are entered into a raffle for prizes. FALL FEST: A Fall Fest Trunk or Treat event will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at Little Farms United Church of Christ, 135 Sauve Road, River Ridge. HALLOWEEN DECORATION JUDGING: The French Quarter will be at the height of its spooky glamour on Tuesday, Oct. 27, beginning at 5:30 p.m., as members of the Patio Planters group judges Halloween decorations, traveling through the Quarter in an open-air school bus.
