New Orleans police found the body of a 31-year-old man late Saturday when they answered a call of shots fired on Dryades Street.
Officers, who got the call just before midnight, found the man in the 2900 block of Dryades, New Orleans Police Department Officer Hilal Williams said Sunday in a news release.
The victim, who was not identified in the release, had been shot multiple times
Investigators are collecting evidence and information to identify the shooter. Homicide Detective Debra Normand in charge of the investigation. She can be reached at 658-5300.
