Armed robbers held up two people in the Seventh Ward and a Circle K in Uptown on Monday, according to a New Orleans Police department preliminary crime log.

Around 11:30 a.m., police said, two armed men approached two men, ages 23 and 22, near the corner of Kerlerec and North Johnson streets. The suspects fled with cash taken from both.

Then at around 6:45 p.m., police said, a robber walked into a Circle K at 6050 Magazine St. near Audobon Park and asked for a pack of cigarettes. Instead of reaching for the smokes, the robber whipped out a gun and demanded all the money in the register. He fled with a bundle of money in an unknown direction.
