Delgado student reported missing
New Orleans police are searching for a Delgado Community College student who disappeared Monday after leaving her home on City Park Avenue for class.
The woman, 19-year-old Shroq Aziz, was last seen about 7:30 a.m. When she didn’t return home from school by 5:30 p.m., her parents went to the school and found her car still parked there, police said.
Aziz is described as 5-foot-3 with a medium build. She was wearing a gray jacket, dark jeans and a green head scarf with another black cloth underneath.

Woman shot while driving in 7th Ward
A 38-year-old woman was shot in the foot Tuesday evening while driving in the 7th Ward, police said.
The woman was shot in her vehicle in the 1400 block of Annette Street and was taken to a hospital.
The shooting was reported shortly after 6 p.m.
Woman stabbed Tuesday in Hollygrove
A 29-year-old woman was stabbed in Hollygrove early Tuesday morning.
The woman was arguing with a male friend about 1 a.m. when the friend took a knife from the kitchen and cut her, police said.
She suffered a minor stab wound and refused medical treatment. The man fled.
Woman wanted in CBD bar stabbing
New Orleans police are looking for a woman they said tried to stab someone this month with a broken beer bottle.
Samantha Burbanks, 33, accidentally cut a woman while trying to stab yet another woman inside Endzone Bar, 1901 Poydras St., about 2 p.m. Nov. 9, according to the Police Department.
She is wanted for aggravated battery by cutting.

Man arrested in burglary at Laser Tag
New Orleans police arrested a man Monday after he allegedly burglarized a Laser Tag store in New Orleans East.
Wayne Horn, 27, was booked on one count of business burglary and numerous traffic offenses.
Police responded about 4 a.m. to a burglar alarm in the 6000 block of Bullard Avenue.
They saw the front window had been shattered and the business burglarized. They also noticed an ATM was missing.
Video surveillance showed a white Chevy Suburban leaving the area.
Police located a similar vehicle in the vicinity and a chase ensued until Horn stopped the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.
He was arrested in the 5100 block of Bundy Road. A second man in the vehicle fled on foot.
Inside the Suburban, police said, they found the ATM, a cordless saw, bolt cutters and pry bars.
St. Charles woman caught with bath salts
A Destrehan woman was arrested Friday on drug charges after the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office discovered she was receiving bath salts from China.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a package with 1,042 grams of bath salts, addressed to Lojoan M. Fiffie, was intercepted at Kennedy Airport in New York.
The street value of the drugs was put at $90,000.
Officials delivered the package to Fiffie’s home in the 200 block of Meadows Drive. She was arrested after signing for it.
Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, phenobarbital, tramadol and valium also were found in her home, authorities said.
She was released from jail Monday on a $5,030 bond.
