New Orleans police reported four armed robberies Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The first incident happened in the 7th Ward about 11:20 p.m. Police said a 32-year-old man was walking in the 1700 block of Lapeyrouse Street when he was approached by a man with a knife who demanded money. The victim complied, and the robber stabbed him, police said.

The second robbery happened about 1:40 a.m. in Treme. Police said a 31-year-old woman got off her bicycle near the front gate of her house in the 800 block of North Robertson Street when an armed man approached her from behind. The robber demanded her purse and bike, and she complied.

At just about the same time, a robbery happened Uptown, police said. A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were walking at Delachaise and Carondelet streets about 1:45 a.m. when they were approached from behind by an armed man demanding their belongings. The robber fled after they complied.

Finally, two 29-year-old men were held up shortly before 3 a.m. in the Central Business District.

The victims were walking in the 200 block of Carondelet Street when an armed man approached and demanded their property, police said. He fled after they gave him their belongings.
