The Sewerage & Water Board said construction will cause low water pressure in parts of New Orleans this week:
Residents and businesses in a section of the Central Business District will experience low pressure Monday through Thursday nights, from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night, as workers tie in a new water line that will serve the area. The affected areas will be along Gravier Street between O’Keefe Avenue and Baronne Street and along O’Keefe Avenue between Gravier and Canal streets.
Customers on North Galvez Street between Franklin Avenue and Arts Street will experience low pressure from 8 a.m. to noon Monday as workers replace a water line that serves the area.
Customers on Madrid Street between St. Bernard Avenue and Spanish Fort Boulevard will experience low pressure from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday as crews tie in a water line to serve the area.
