ROSARY CRUSADE: The 16th annual Mother’s Day Rosary Crusade for Life will be from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, May 10 at St. Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Drive in Metairie. The celebrant for the Mass at 8 a.m. will be Father Beau Charbonnet. Guest speakers Colin and Aimee MacIver will give their testimony about adoption. ST. CHARLES AVENUE PRESBYTERIAN SERIES: The “Rebuilding Hope — Perspectives on the Katrina Experience” guest lecture series continues with two final presentations at St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1545 State St. The topic Sunday, May 11 will be “The Katrina Experience Expressed Through the Arts.” On May 18, the Rev. Donald Frampton will speak on “St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church — How Have We Changed as a result of the Katrina Experience?” The talks are from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and free to the public.

OLD-FASHIONED TENT REVIVAL: St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Catholic churches will hold an old-fashioned tent revival, “It’s a Love Thing III,” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. nightly from Sunday, May 18, through Wednesday, May 21, at Hunter’s Field, 1600 N. Claiborne Ave.

CATHOLIC RETREAT: The Rev. Simeon Gallagher will lead a retreat with the theme of “St. Francis of Assisi: Themes and Insights for Daily Living” Friday, May 30, through Sunday, June 1, at the Archdiocese of New Orleans Retreat Center, 5500 St. Mary St., New Orleans.
