The First Bank & Trust in New Orleans' Central Business District was held up on Monday afternoon, New Orleans Police said.

The suspect entered the bank on the 900 block of Poydras Street around 2:53 p.m., and handed the bank teller a note impling he had a weapon, FBI spokesman Craig Betbeze said. He left the bank with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect left the bank, running toward St. Charles Avenue on foot, police said. He is described as black man, being 5'10" with a medium build, light complexion, wearing a blue baseball cap, light colored pants and a gray long-sleeve collard shirt, Betbeze said.

This is the second incident at a CBD bank this year. Last month, The Whitney Bank on Gravier Street was robbed.
