An unidentified man died after a traffic crash at Interstate 10 West and Crowder Boulevard on Monday evening, New Orleans Police said.

Police said the man was pronounced dead on the scene around 6:34 p.m., said New Orleans Police spokesman Officer Juan Barnes.

The man was driving a white Chevrolet 1500 truck westbound in the left lane on I-10 at Crowder Boulevard when he lost control of his truck, Barnes said. The man crowssed two travel lanes and the should lane before hitting the right guardrail and flipping the car on its right side.

The man was ejected from the car and no other vehicles were involved in the crash, Barnes said.
