The Jefferson Performing Arts Society Leading Ladies Guild installed new officers recently during a luncheon at Vincent’s restaurant in Metairie.

The outgoing president, Kellie Barnes, presented a check for $5,000 to the Jefferson Performing Arts Society, represented by Executive Director Dennis G. Assaf. The Leading Ladies Guild also gave two scholarships to the JPAS summer program and will sponsor a preview party for “My Fair Lady.”

Jefferson Parish Council member Cynthia Lee-Sheng installed the officers and counselors: Carrel Epling, president; Gloria Esthus, vice president; Irene Klinger, parliamentarian; Pat Persaud, treasurer; Rita Nelson, corresponding secretary; Janet Schwary, recording secretary; Kim Hasney, historian; and Howard Bennett, Dianne Breaux, Anita Brite, Brenda Chetta, Ginger Crawford, Anne Favret, Nicole Ferrier, Josephine Haas, Jane Miller, Jolene Ryan, Pat Starnes and Margaret Wagner, counselors.
