Five men fell victim to two armed robberies and a carjacking in New Orleans on Wednesday and early Thursday, police said in a log of major offenses.

About 1 p.m. Wednesday, two men sitting on a porch in the 3700 block of Delachaise Street in Broadmoor were robbed by an armed man who hopped out of a silver vehicle and forced them to hand over their property and money, police said. The gunman then ran off without the vehicle, according to authorities.

Then shortly before 3 p.m., police said, two men aged 21 and 24 were robbed in the 1200 block of Clouet Street in the Upper 9th Ward. A revolver-wielding man with a white cloth over his face jumped out of a black sedan and forced the men to hand over money and cell phones, police said.

That stick-up comes on the heels of three others reported nearby on Tuesday, in the 1300 block of Feliciana Street, 1800 block of Music Street, and the intersection of St. Claude Avenue and Louisa Street.

Then around 4 a.m. Thursday, according to police, a 42-year-old man was parking his 2014 Nissan Maxima in the 8600 block of Dinkins Street in New Orleans East when someone forced him out. The suspect fled in the man’s vehicle, which had license plate YMB000, police said.
