The Mandeville High student detained Friday morning for allegedly threatening violence against the school has been released and won't be charged, according to the Mandeville Police Department.
Officials said detectives questioned several students about the rumored threat, and no one had "any direct knowledge of any threat of violence."
Detectives also examined the student's cell phone and social media accounts and didn't find any evidence of a threat.

There's no "imminent danger" at the school, according to police. But, "out of an abundance of caution," additional officers will be on campus Friday.
Police spokesman Gerald Sticker said officers are investigating the threat.
No other details were provided.
