The Manning Family Athletic Complex at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans was dedicated Feb. 27. The complex will encompass all existing athletic facilities as well as new facilities under construction as part of a $3 million project to enhance athletic spaces.

The signature space of the new project is Reginelli Way, a grand entrance plaza adjacent to Michael Lupin Field opening onto Danneel Street that honors legendary football coach Tony Reginelli, who coached and taught at Newman for 37 years. The Manning legacy at Newman includes parents and grandparents Archie and Olivia Manning; Cooper Manning ’92, businessman and sports TV personality; two-time Super Bowl champions Peyton Manning ’94 and Eli Manning ’99; and Cooper Manning’s children, two of whom attend Newman.

Peyton Manning joined current Newman head coach and Reginelli protégé Nelson Stewart ’95, David Glancy ’79, Reggie Reginelli ’79, and Dale M. Smith as speakers at the dedication of Reginelli Way.
