Woman, daughter carjacked in Metairie

A woman said she and her 14-year-old daughter were carjacked in Metairie on Saturday night, according to Col. John Fortunato, a spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office.

She said one of the first two men, who had tattoos and a black New Orleans Saints shirt, pulled out a handgun and ordered her and her daughter out of their car. The woman said the second man had a semi-automatic rifle.

The suspects then ordered the victims to the ground before driving away in the victims’ car, a 2008 black Chevrolet Cobalt with Louisiana license plate WTM308.
