The Girl Scouts at St. Ann School in Metairie held their annual parade with the theme “Girl Scouts Around the World” on Jan. 29. Eleven troops, including Daisies, Brownies and Girls Scouts, participated. The troops represented the United States, Mexico, France, Bahamas, Madagascar, England, China, Japan, Australia and Egypt. Seventh-grade students served as wagon pullers, banner holders and the clean-up crew, while students as young as 2 lined the streets to watch the parade.
