‘HANSEL & GRETEL’: The Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts will present a Patchwork Players production of “Hansel & Gretel” through July 19 on the Lagniappe Stage of the theater at 325 Minor St., Kenner.

Jessica Podewell is director of the family-friendly show, and the cast includes Gary Rucker, Greg Stratton, Joe Seibert, Mike Harkins, Chrissy Garrett and Shelley Rucker.

THIRD ANNUAL JALOPY JUBILEE: Hot rods, gassers, customs, motorcycles, choppers, bobbers — anything with a motor is welcome to come out and support Animal Rescue New Orleans at the third annual Jalopy Jubilee from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at The Mill, 5808 River Oaks Road, Harahan.

ARNO is a no-kill shelter established following Hurricane Katrina, and 100 percent of the event proceeds will go to the shelter.

There will be raffles for prizes that include flat-screen TVs, a designer cosmetic basket, gift cards, wine baskets and more. Admission is $5.
