When a children's arts group in Plaquemines Parish outgrew their temporary home in borrowed library space last year, they were given access to an unused parish building. The council authorized money to renovate the space, and the group, La Ya Ya, took to their new home.

Now the money is gone, the building is condemned and the kids of La Ya Ya are crestfallen.
