FBI agents have arrested the person suspected of robbing a Central Business District bank at knifepoint last week.
Derrick Morgan made his first appearance before a federal magistrate judge on Tuesday afternoon after New Orleans police turned him over to the FBI.
Police arrested Morgan on unrelated charges during the weekend, the FBI said. Details about that arrest were not immediately available.
Morgan is suspected of robbing Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank’s main branch at 321 St. Charles Ave. on Sept. 3.
