An 18-year-old man was shot to death about 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Green and Monroe streets in West Carrollton, New Orleans police said.

A 21-year-old man shot in the same incident was taken to a hospital with a wound to his side. The wound was not life-threatening.

The 18-year-old died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

Louisa Street robber takes money, cigars

The Louisa Mini Mart in the 3400 block of Louisa Street was robbed Saturday morning.

A man carrying a rifle or shotgun entered the store about 7 a.m. demanding money, police said.

A store employee complied, and the robber fled with the money and a box of cigars.

Woman stabbed with scisssors during fight

A 23-year-old woman was stabbed with a pair of scissors about 11 a.m. Saturday in the 2000 block of Allen Street in the 7th Ward.

The victim and Ebony Williams, also 23, were fighting when Williams stabbed the other woman, police said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, and an arrest warrant was issued for Williams on a count of aggravated battery by cutting.

Magnolia Discount store robbed again

The Magnolia Discount store in the 3400 block of South Carrollton Avenue was robbed early Sunday by a man with a gun, police reported.

The man entered the store about 3 a.m., produced a white bag and demanded money. The cashier complied.

The store has been robbed several times in recent months.

Man robbed Saturday night in Terrytown

A man was robbed late Saturday night at Behrman Highway and Park Place Drive in Terrytown, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office reported.

The man was injured, but his wounds were not life-threatening.
