A Kenner man has been arrested and accused of providing ammunition to juveniles involved in an April 8 shooting.

Police said they found video of that shooting in the 3500 block of West Louisiana State Drive in Kenner on the cellphone of John McDowell, 21.

According to an arrest record, McDowell can be heard to say on the video, “That’s a .22. ... I gave him the bullets.”

One boy, 14, was shot in the upper thigh during the shooting. Three juveniles and Lakenya Hall, 35, were previously arrested for their alleged involvement.

McDowell was booked on counts of being a principal to aggravated battery and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. He was released after posting $20,500 bond.
