Two robbed Sunday in Warehouse District

Two men were robbed early Sunday morning in the Warehouse District, according to records from the New Orleans Police Department.

The incident occurred about 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Commerce Street.

The victims, both 22, said they were approached by a man who got out of a white vehicle.

The man produced a weapon, stole the victims’ money and fled.

Carjacking reported Saturday night

A man was carjacked Saturday night in New Orleans East.

The incident occurred about 8:40 p.m. in the 4900 block of Tulip Street.

Two unknown men approached the victim and demanded his belongings. They fled with his vehicle and cash.

Rape reported on St. Claude Avenue

A woman reported she was raped by a man in the 2700 block of St. Claude Avenue on Saturday, according to police records.

The incident occurred about 3 p.m.

2 stabbed in Jefferson Parish on Sunday

Two men were stabbed in Jefferson Parish on Sunday morning, according to 911 headquarters records. Both men’s injuries were not life-threatening.

The first incident occurred about 2 a.m. in the 1100 block of Scotsdale Drive in Harvey.

Another man was stabbed in the 1700 block of Stumpf Boulevard in Terrytown about 3 a.m. He also was robbed.
