Video: Construction workers use water buckets to battle blaze at Tulane Ave. storage building _lowres

Using water buckets and an extinguisher, a construction crew put out a fire that appeared to start on a second-floor unit of the Fountainbleau Storage Building on Tulane Avenue about 6:20 p.m. Thursday.

The workers were gathered on a roof attached to the unit. A dog watched the action on a balcony a few stories above the action. Firefighters with the New Orleans Fire Department arrived at the scene a few minutes after the flames appeared to engulf the unit.
