The funeral for Glenn Ford, who spent almost 30 years on Louisiana’s death row before being exonerated, will be Sunday afternoon at Charbonnet Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St.
Ford died Monday in New Orleans. He was 65.
Viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel and a repast from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the hall.
There will be an open microphone, limited to three minutes per person, for anyone who would like to share a story, poem, song or anything else in Ford’s memory.
