The Jefferson Performing Arts Society will present “A Midsummer Night’s Dream Ballet” as part of its Arts Adventure Series at 10:30 a.m. May 13 at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center, 6400 Airline Drive, Metairie.

Kenneth Beck will direct the ballet, which is based on the play by William Shakespeare and set to music by Felix Mendelssohn. Choreography is by Kenneth Beck and Kimberly Matulich-Beck.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society provides free coordinating lesson plans and study guides for all Arts Adventure Series performances at jpas.org. Admission is $6 for students, and one teacher or chaperone is admitted free for every 10 paid students.
