Two Chapelle students take first place in district rally _lowres

Two students from Archbishop Chapelle High School in Metairie took first place in the March 5 Greater New Orleans District Rally: Kate Lorio, English IV, overall winner; and Amelia Dunn, French I. The rally was presented by the Louisiana High School Rally Association.

Others from Chapelle who qualified for state competition on the basis of their performance in the rally were Emily DeLord, sociology; Sarah Grosse, English I; Mary Lotz-Skrokov, environmental science; Hannah Lovrovich, psychology; Emma Mathes, physical science; Molly Snakenberg, geometry; Natalie Sunseri, English II; Paige Verdin, journalism; and Zeiwei Wei, advanced math pre-calculus. Katelyn Magri took fifth place in fine arts survey.
